A six-step AI implementation plan, written for your situation.
Six steps, in the order the work happens. Three short screens of questions, then one plan for all six steps, written for your goal and drawn from the guides on this site. Your answers stay in this browser; nothing identifies you on the server.
What this is
A free AI implementation plan generator, in six steps. State your goal, who it is for, your data, budget, team and deadline, and get a plan that says which steps are essential for that goal, what to do in each, how many hours it takes, and when it is done. It is drawn from guides written on shipped AI projects, not from a template.
How it works
- What you want. Your goal in one line, the kind of system, and how the plan should be written for you.
- Who it is for. The users and what they ask, the kind of tool you need, how sensitive the data is, and the budget.
- Your constraints. Who builds and runs it, how long until a first result, the failure that worries you most, and who signs off.
Then one plan across all six steps, with a roadmap, an effort split, the verified tools that fit, and a glossary when you asked for plain words.
The six steps, in the order the work happens
- Decide what the system must do. Design around the user's intent before choosing a model or a vector store. Every message is a seed: designing an intent-first chatbot.
- Pick tools that are actually used. Browse by category; each entry shows the review or discussion that verified it. The verified AI tools directory.
- Run a small experiment. One proxy, nineteen developers, and what changed in the numbers. Giving nineteen developers AI through one proxy.
- Test before you ship. A weighted 21-case evaluation that decides whether a chatbot goes live. The 21-case test that decides whether a chatbot ships.
- Make it repeatable. Shipping client products without a dev team assigned, and the process behind it. A brief goes in, software comes out.
- Keep up without the noise. One update a day, each from a primary source you can read yourself. One AI news update a day, with sources.
Questions people ask
What is the guided path?
A free planning tool on this site. You answer eleven short questions on three screens, and it writes a six-step AI implementation plan for your goal: what the system must do, which verified tools fit, how to run a small experiment, how to test before shipping, how to make it repeatable, and how to keep up. Each step comes with actions, an example, an hour estimate and a done-when line.
Is it free, and do I need an account?
Yes, it is free and there is no sign-up. Two fresh plans a day per browser and connection keep the cost of the writing model in check. Your answers and the plan stay in your browser; nothing that identifies you is stored on the server.
Where does the advice come from?
From the guides on this site, which are field notes from shipped AI systems: an intent-first chatbot design, a proxy that gave nineteen developers AI access, a weighted 21-case test that decides whether a chatbot ships, and a process for shipping without a dev team. The tools it names come from the verified AI tools directory on this site, each with the review or discussion that verified it.
Who is it for?
Operations managers, founders, team leads and engineers who have to put an AI chatbot, assistant or automation to work and want a plan sized to their team, budget, data sensitivity and deadline rather than a generic checklist.
How is the plan personalised?
Every step is judged against the goal you state: marked essential, optional or skip for that goal, with the reason. Confidential data changes the tools step to self-hosted options and masking before any model call. A fear of leaks puts leak cases first in the test step. The reading level you choose sets the words: plain English with every term explained, or direct and brief.
Can I trust the plan as it is?
Treat it as a draft, not a verdict. A model writes it from your answers and the guides here, so it can be wrong or miss something that matters in your situation. Check each step against your own facts, and use the linked guide under each step for the full method.
What if my goal is not an AI system?
The path is built for chatbots, assistants and automations that use a model. If your goal is something else, the plan says so plainly and points to the guides, the tools directory and the daily news instead.
